How is emotional intelligence connected to writing?

writing

In order to understand the connection between writing and emotional intelligence, first of all, you should know what emotions are. Emotions are strong feelings deriving from your circumstances, mood, or relationships with others. When you use your divine intelligence before expressing your emotions it becomes your emotional intelligence. There is a difference between divine intelligence and logical intelligence. Divine intelligence is naturally inbuilt in you as your discretion, while logical intelligence comes from acquiring knowledge through books. Divine intelligence is all about good and positive things and it is completely detached from all the bad you can think of such as lust, greed, hatred, sex, anger, ego etc.

For example, if someone irritated you unknowingly, for some reasons, you may express your emotions by getting angry. But if you are emotionally intelligent you may just forgive him thinking that he did it unknowingly. On the other hand, if a person is too low in emotional intelligence he may even kill the other person who irritated him. So emotional intelligence is all about to be self-aware before you react or take action.

As already mentioned on ihhp.com, emotional intelligence gives you the ability to recognize, understand and manage your own emotions and also influence the emotions of others. For example, if your emotions are in the form of anger and you don’t recognize your emotions (anger) then you will get carried away with your anger resulting in hurting or creating problems for the people who will be the victims of your anger. But if you are emotionally intelligent it will give you the ability to recognize your emotions (anger) and so you will not get carried away by those negative emotions(like anger). So emotional intelligence is very important during pressure situations so that you don’t get carried away.

Emotional intelligence is actually applicable to all fields of life to maintain harmony and peace and get more success irrespective of what you do for a living.

Emotional intelligence in writing

For commercial purposes, writing is not about using eye-catching words and phrases to impress others. Your content should engage your readers and tend users to click on external links or check other pages of the site. This is important to rank your website better in search engines like Google. Also, the information provided should be 100% accurate, useful and serve the purpose of the reader. If you are not emotionally intelligent this may not be possible for you to do or it will require a lot of hard work. Your level of emotional intelligence will determine your capabilities to impress your readers and provide them exactly what they were looking for.

It’s a fact, you express your emotions even while writing. Whatever you will write, it will reflect your emotional intelligence. People with higher levels of emotional intelligence have that capability to influence others by their writings. On the other hand, people with low levels of emotional intelligence usually face a lot of criticism for their writing work. But it may not be so that they cannot write properly.

It could be understood better with an example. Suppose someone wrote on their blog as below.

All people of the world should take to Christianity and forget their own religion.

This kind of writing will face criticism. This also gives the indication that the writer is missing emotional intelligence. He is expressing his emotions in a negative way without the involvement of divine intelligence. Divine intelligence would never force anyone to change their religion.

Here is one more example:

A man marrying another man should be allowed. A woman marrying another woman should be allowed.

This kind of statement again will face criticism as you may know why. This is actually not something normal in the eye of the divine.
